Hmmm... WOW!!! It's been a loooong time since I was here. I even forgot that I have a blog and that I planned to use it more often. But as my live is going fast and can barely find the time to have a good sleep it is no surprise that I haven't written anything for such a long time.

Things are going well. Busy as always working hard but enjoying it as much as posssible. Meeting new people from different countries, even from different continents and learning new things every single day.
In the mean time reading books, listening to music and trying to stay in touch with my friends (and it is not easy as I work 6 days a week!!!! sometimes seven).  Apart from that, being proud of my friend writing books and waiting for her to publish one of them.

So.... that was a quick update of what is going on with me right now. Hope to remember about me having this blog and writing something more often.

Creative or not??? That is a question...

I have never bene a very talented and creative person. In terms of all that arts and crafts of course.
I hate drawing, painting, cutting etc. I hate doing that but it is probably because I can't :( The only thing I can draw is one type of flowers. That's all!

Because of the Christams and my friend's Christmas wish I decided to use my brain a little bit more that usually (and usually I push it to the limit so I have no idea how could I push it more:)) and do something which included cutting, painting, drawing and what is more gave me a lot of fun ;) But lets start from the beginning.

My friend Mariusz said that he would like to get for Christmas a toy-car, but not just a small toy car but the car with the remote that he would be able to take on the street and ride it. I have to mention that he is 25 years old, has a wife and a 9-months-old doughter. Silly Kate (!!!) said "Sure, I will give you one" but soon I started regretting that one sentence because everywhere he went he saw that kind of cars and then he called me to tell about that.

Christams shopping this year were a little bit more expensive that I expected so I couldn't afford buying toy like that so I decided to do something else. I needed two boxes, glue, scissors, paintbrushes and some paints.

I spent two hours (!!!!) doing the best car in the world and my parents could't stay in one room with me 'cause I was laughing all the time. Now, I would like to share with you the results of my fun time. I hope you will enjoy reading and wothing that ;)

Oh yes, yes, yes... I am really talented ;)
And Mariusz loves his brand new car!!!

My inspiration...

Hi everybody, It's me again :)

Last time I wrote you something about the book I read. Now it's time two talk about music...
For the past few years I've really been into rock music, new and old sounds with deep lyrics.
Conclusion??? I love it!!!

Sometimes one song changes your interest and makes you think about your life, sometimes one songs makes you realize that all off that crap you heard before is not what you are looking for.

Two brothers and their friend rocks the world giving lots of shows and energy to their fans and family called Echelon. This band is 30 Seconds to Mars. Unbelievably honest and crazy band I love. I heard about them long time ago but at first I did't realize how good they are. Then I saw and heard their song "Closer to the edge" and that was it. Since then I am a huge fan, bought all their CD's and missed three their shows in Poland (unfortunately) and one in London and now I'm hoping for some more :)

I am not going to write here a long note about the band, songs, lyrics and other stuff. I can't find proper words to describe how important their music is for me. The only thing I can say is that you should listen to some of their songs. Even if you are not a fan of rock sounds ;)

The last book

OMG!!! It has been such a long time since the last time I posted something on my brand new blog.
I was so busy and I could't find a second to write somethink that might be interested (I started new job and I come back really late). But no more excuses. I have something I want share with you.

Last week I finished a really good book. I took it from the library in my village, I started reading it but I found out it as another boring book what was strange because the story in the book was something I am interested in.
One day, when I had to go somewhere far from home I took this book just to read it insted listening to music all the time and that's it. I got into that book and I could't stop. Let me introduce you the aouthor and her wonderful work.

Lesley Downer, the author of this book spent many years in Japan being interested in history of that country and their culture. We all know that you can still see tradicions from the past in present days. That's whata Lesley did. She wrote a masterpice in which she combined a bit of the history, fobidden love, tradition and the truth about live in the past.

The title is "The last concubine". It is a story about Sachi, a beautiful girl who was leaving with her parents in a small village when the new and in the same time the first wife of the young shogun was traveling to her new home, the palace in city called Edo. When she sa Sachi, she chose her to go with her to the palace.
It was an honour to be chosen by shogun's wife and live with other women in Edo.
Years later it was Sachi who was chosen by shogun to be his concubine. One night changed everything in her live.
She realised what the love is.

But the live wasn't very easy for women in the palace. Shogun was killed and they no longer were safe. Sachi had to leave the palace to safe the first wife who was also her friend. During that trip to nowhere she met a young man who safed her and they grew closer. The problem was that she was shogun's wife and even if he was dead, she still couldn't be in involved in any relationship....

What happened next... I won't tell you. If you like that kind of stories you should go and find this book in the library or just go and buy. It is worth spending few hours reading this story.

I hope some of you will read this book and for those who will do it I wish a very relaxing time ;)

P.S. Shanna, now it is your turn for a book ;)

Following My Dreams

Do you know the feeling when everything goes in the wrong direction and suddenly something happens, something what changes your life?? Yeah, I'm sure you know. I just experienced something like that, I found a new job and I finally feel like I found my place. Maybe I won't spend the rest of my live doing what I'm doing now but I'm sure I will stay there for some time.
I'm finally happy!!! :)

I hope that if you are in the similar position I were, You will find your place :)

See you soon

Me, Myself anf I

So, today something about me. I'm 23 and I live in small village in Poland. It's a magical place. I love being here and I really don't like big cities. Or no. I like them If they are close to water. It makes me calm ;) I study english philology hoping thet one day I will become a teacher in primary or junior high school. By now I'm sittin at home searching for a job and maybe I will have one soon. Will see.
I love music, but unfortunately because of years of learning english when I hear somrthing in the tv or in the radio I start tranaslating this into Polish. That's my thing.
I love reading books and even more talking about them with other people. I had a pleasure to meet a person with who I could share my knowledge about books. If you are interested in knowing that person, just click on the link below and enjoy ;)
